Hi, I’m Jen!
I’m currently a chemical engineering student at the University of Alabama, and I’ve spent my college years learning not just about engineering, but about how to be adaptable and strategic in reaching my goals. Through hands-on experience and persistence, I’ve learned how to leverage my skills to create opportunities for myself—both academically and professionally.
I grew up on a small ranch, which sparked my curiosity and problem-solving mindset from a young age and ultimately inspired me to pursue engineering. That early exposure to hard work and resourcefulness has shaped the way I approach challenges, whether in the lab, in my studies, or in personal projects.
On this blog, I plan to share insights into the projects I’ve been working on in college, practical tips for navigating student life, and my journey to setting up a strong financial foundation. One of my proudest achievements so far has been saving my first six figures while still in college—a process I’m excited to break down and share with others looking to build financial independence early.
